The village Glen retirement village,Rosebud West,Victoria.
The Village Glen is the premier retirement Village in Victoria. It is about 120 acres in size with numerous facilities including: Golf course; Club house with pool, spa, gymnasium and Cafe; fully equipped restaurant; sports building; bowling green and much more!
Clive worked at The Village Glen for 8 and 1/2 years and during that time was responsible for the plant selection and overseeing the planting of about 45 acres of the village. As there was no public irrigation installed he had to make sure the planting was drought tolerant.

| This, combined with coastal proximity, very sandy and limey soils and strong winds, has made the task a challenging one, but, by the photos below, you can see that it has been very successful. |

| This is a bed planted about 4 years ago. One of the main requirements of the planting was to provide an informal screen of plants between the villas. |

This was a boundary bed, and the plants were chosen to not only provide interest, but also screen the neighboring houses.
